
Ingredients: (2 servings)
2 cups spinach and kale mix
2 celery sticks (peel top layer)
Around 2/3 tbsp mint
1 green apple
1/2 cucumber, peeled
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1 inch fresh ginger, peeled
1 1/2 cups water or nut milk
This is the basic recipe I like to use and usually add whatever else I can find in the fridge. It can be sweetened using more fruit (which I do for my kids) but I try to stick to just one piece of fruit as a general rule.
You can also give your green drink an added boost using adaptogens such as maca, ashwaganda, ground flax seeds, gingseng...but remember, a little goes a long way! You usually don't need more than a teaspoon or two.
